RHA is creating Building Councils in order to provide the students in each building with an organized voice to RHA. These Building Councils will meet bi-weekly in order to discuss issues in their building, brainstorm possible programming opportunities, and provide an outlet for concerns of the residents in that area. We need your help to advertise and get the word out about nominations and elections.  If you know students who are interested or that you think would be a good fit, please nominate them.

Building Councils will be assigned to the following areas:

• Donovan
•  Lewis/Lewis Annex
• NG Suites East
• NG Suites West
• Owen

The following positions are available on the Building Council for each area:

• President (some presidents have been pre-selected based on prior involvement in RHA)
• Secretary
• Hall Representative (1 person per RA's hall)
• RHA Senator***

*** The RHA Senator is a voting position on RHA, in addition to the Building Council President, who provides a voice for his/her residence hall.  There will be one Senator per residence hall (as listed above) and this person does NOT have to attend Building Council meetings and may be an RA (no in-service credit).
