Directors of Instruction (DOIs) are expected to travel to and from the program with cadets and/or cadre members. North Georgia College and State University cannot be responsible for employees traveling outside of the program. Flights to/from Fort Knox and the foreign country are purchased and arranged in the Defense Travel System by US Army Cadet Command and are based upon the program start and end dates. Requests to extend in-country dates for personal travel will not be granted. DOIs are responsible for arranging their own transportation for training, after action reviews, and other Georgia-based required events, but will be reimbursed based on the nature of the costs.

4. What is the difference between a Director of Instruction(DOI) and a Instructor of Record (IOR)?

A Director of Instruction travels abroad with a team on a CELTT program. A Instructor of Record is located stateside that evaluates the cadet's performance on a CULP program.
