The Testing Center at North Georgia administers a number of standardized, nationally or state normed tests. For Graduate Admissions, the MAT, GMAT and GACE Exams are offered. |
Entrance Tests Required for Admission to Graduate Program
- Entrance test scores required for graduate admission must be sent to the Office of Graduate Admission directly by the responsible testing agency.
- Test scores must be less than 6 years old to be considered for admission.
- Unofficial scores and student copies are not considered official.
- Advance registration for all tests is required.
- Testing fees vary.
- You may be able to exempt an entrance test for some graduate programs if you hold a master's degree from a regionally-accredited institution. Check program.
- You may be able to exempt an entrance test for Teacher Education graduate programs (MEd, MAT, and MS in PE) if your undergraduate gpa is at least a 3.0 (4.0 scale), calculated in accordance with North Georgia Graduate Admissions' procedures. Contact the Office of Graduate Admissions for details.
