Introduction

The academic program of the Biology Department of North Georgia is designed to prepare students for professional careers in the biological sciences including:

   -Medicine and allied health professions
   -Education
   -Research
   -Private industry

Our department provides students with a broad background in biological sciences rather than specialized expertise within a subdiscipline. Students are thus prepared for a diverse array of career opportunities.
